Hyundai does not have not yet revealed many particulars regarding the vehicle, but the teaser picture demonstrates that it is sharply styled.
The automaker claims that the design offers a sample of the upcoming products of the brand. If that becomes true, they could seem great. The 2016 Concept sedan comes with slanting LED headlights to make its front part look both aggressive and highly current. These headlights link to a wide grille, which highlights the width of the vehicle.

As far as the external design is concerned, there are a plethora of features to observe. The main aim of Hyundai is to make its 2016 concept sedan to stand out from any of its own models.
The new concept sedan comes equipped with the prominent Hyundai’s trademark vertical grille that offers its front part a fresh look. However, in place of the usual horizontal bars, the concept has a chain-net-like design. The horizontal headlamps are thinner and sharper than the ones seen on the Genesis G80 or Genesis G90.
Those headlamps have been designed with the LED technology and they extend all the way to the pronounced and sharp front fender that, frankly, reminds that of the Lexus. The concept also features a long hood that discontinues just short of the car’s nose, providing sufficient space for the Genesis emblem to rest on the tip comfortably.
The rear and the side designs are just so stimulating. There are four character stripes run along the length of the doors. Evidently, the automaker wanted to offer the concept a physically powerful and well-built look that balances its luxurious personality. The rear part of the fenders comes equipped with a honeycomb vents that provide an additional signature look and function to the vehicle. The shorter front overhangs and the longer back ones offer a unique look to the car, which makes tit via competently with its class competitors.
As the rear, the New York Concept comes equipped with slender taillights analogous to their counterparts in the front. Overall, it is a physically powerful concept design that the automaker would be smart to employ as a clear base for what the production Genesis G70 will look like.

The cabin comes with a well-appointed cabin. It comes equipped with a floating 4K touch screen with the size of 21 inches that extends from the front door on the driver-side up to the center stack and it integrates the analog device dials, as well.
The overall design of the interior dives deep into the concept territory, as well, with the 2+2 seating arrangement. It comes equipped with a lengthy center console that ensures plentiful space for each inhabitant in the car.
The 2016 Genesis New York Concept interior comes with some interesting features. The entire interior is soaked in superior tan leather, which is balanced by the accents of sliced and anthracite suede leather. Aluminum inlays and copper accents are widespread in the interior, as well, whereas on the athletic side, the unwrapped steering wheel reminds that this is still a performance version, as well.
In spite of the promotion as a hybrid variant, Genesis did not dive excessively into the powertrain. Beneath the hood, it comes equipped with a GDi engine with the displacement of 2.0 liters. This powertrain purportedly works in performance with a hybrid setup that produces an utmost power of 242 ponies and an utmost torque of 260 pounds per foot. This Genesis Hybrid Concept engine will be mated to an eight-velocity automatic transmission.
Obviously, the Genesis G70 will definitely come equipped with more than one engine option with the probability that as a minimum, one among them will come as a hybrid variant.
To conclude, there is an immense deal of thrill surrounding the 2016 Genesis New York Concept and the bases for that thrill is entirely reasonable.
