The 2019 Tesla Model 3 Hatchback is one among the two body styles of the future redesigned version of the Model 3, the other being the sedan body style. The Model 3 is an admission-level sedan with polished styling, impressive performance, and solid range. Unlike other products of Tesla, such as the Model X and the Model S, the Model 3 tenders affordability with an eye towards high-capacity production and with almost 400,000 pre-orders on the books by now. The back roof cross-sedan support beam was shifted to ensure passengers sitting on the backbench had sufficient headroom. The consequence is a petite trunk lid, instead of the bigger hatch seen on the Model X and Model S. The major class competitors of the 2019 version Model 3 Hatchback will be the Chevrolet Bolt and Nissan Leaf.

2019 Tesla Model 3 Hatchback Exterior

The 2019 Model 3 Hatchback features the elongated, coupe-like look. It comes with the same external look as that of its sedan counterpart. The nose in the front fascia of the new hatchback comes without grille or intake, known the vehicle does not have the similar need for clean air as something operated by an internal combustion motor. The headlights of the vehicle will set down into the front fenders, with LED bulbs used for lighting. The lower daylight running lights will also be designed with the LED technology that will emerge as strips down the bumper. The entire fascia of the vehicle will be fairly evocative of a Porsche creation. The front projection will be extremely short, improving the athletic form of the vehicle, as well.

Moving to the vehicle’s sides, one can find huge, uniquely styled rollers, packing the wheel wells, with a triangular light used to intersperse the fender. The character streaks and windows are positioned at an angle, offering the vehicle a violent, raked posture. The doorknobs are set even by means of the sheet metal, dipping the drag. The major external difference between the sedan and the hatchback can be found in terms of the roofline. The roof line in the new Tesla Model 3 Hatchback 2019 extends outwards at a more even angle when compared to that of the sedan. The single glass sheet is now divided, starting with the following roof spoiler installed on a new cross-sedan support beam, which is positioned on top of the trunk.
Around rear, the new hatchback gets more aero developments, including taillights that cover into the back quarter panels.

2019 Tesla Model 3 Hatchback Interior

One among the most vital interior features is the increased cargo space. As the sedan version comes equipped with two trunks, one in the front and one in the back, the hatchback version would expound this with additional space in the back for broader, taller items. The cabin of both the sedan and the hatchback versions comes with a cargo space, which is capable of accommodating a seven-foot surfboard.

By folding the rear seats, the cabin can accommodate five adult passengers, plus adequate groceries to nourish them all.
In terms of the look and the layout, the 2019 Model 3 Hatchback version is similar to those of its sedan associate, meaning that the model comes equipped with a minimalistic control and spacey design. A massive 15-inch touchscreen mounted on the center console, will replace all the conventional buttons, switches, and knobs that buyers would expect on a vehicle. Here only, the driver and passenger can change settings for the air conditioning and infotainment system, in addition, to viewing different drive settings.

One of the hallmark features of Tesla is its Autopilot approach, which offers independent and semi- independent driving, according to the known situation. Similar to the Model 3 sedan version, it is expected that the essential Autopilot features, such as auto brake and track change assist will be offered as standard, whereas more convenience-focused features will be offered as an option.

Engine, 0-60

Accordingly, the base version comes equipped with a powerful and durable electric motor, which will be powered by a lithium-ion battery pack with the capacity of 40 kWh. The vehicle will be offered with the rear-wheel drive system that allows the new hatchback to cover the maximum distance of 215 miles (344 km). The new Tesla Model 3 2019 also gets enhanced acceleration that enables it to attain the 60 mph speed from the static mode within 6 seconds.

On the other hand, all mid-range versions will get additional power, additional speed, and additional range. These models will be powered by a dual-drive lithium-ion battery pack with the capacity of 60 kWh. They will be offered with the all-wheel drive system that allows these models of the new hatchback to cover the maximum distance of 250 miles (400 km).
