Porsche, the German automobile manufacturer announces the second-generation 2011 Cayenne for the model year 2010. The lineup was expended in 2013 by including diesel and hybrid models and in 2015, the model received a major facelift with many external and internal changes and improved engines. In spite of that wide facelift taking place, the automaker has been seriously developing the next-generation Cayenne for the model year 2018.

The most vital thing about the 2018 Porsche Cayenne SUV is that the model will be underpinned by the novel MLB SUV platform that has previously been exploited on the 2017 Bentley Bentayga and the 2017 Audi Q7, meaning the new model Cayenne would come with a considerable reduction in weight when compared to that of the earlier models.

2018 Porsche Cayenne Changes, Exterior

The upper part of the front fascia of the next-gen Porsche Cayenne comes equipped with LED headlights, whose outer edges are somewhat taped. This means that it comes equipped with a refined headlight design with a slightly different form. The new vehicle comes equipped with a little-redesigned grille, which is a bit bigger than that of the earlier model.
The vent on both sides of the grille is similar to those on the departing model. The fog lights of the vehicle are positioned between the headlights and the corner vents are fit into its fascia. The hood appears to be identical to that the outgoing model, but this is a development of the modern design.

When observing the sides of the new Cayenne, the same meek body line runs across its doors beneath the waistline, but down beneath these lines look more aggressive. It also comes equipped with the same lengthy side view mirrors, similar to that of the current model.
At the back, the vehicle is improved a bit like front fascia, such that it comes equipped with a different set of smoother taillights, similar to that of the ones in the current model.

2018 Porsche Cayenne Interior

The interior is not going to get much change, but the major change will come in the form of additional touch controls and lesser physical buttons, particularly on the center console and on the steering wheel. The new Cayenne is expected to come equipped with a slightly bigger infotainment screen and a fresh instrument cluster design.
Although some rumors specify that the higher end models will come equipped with a digital instrument cluster, it is not yet confirmed by Porsche. Apart from these things, the shape and size of the HVAC vents and the design of the center console will be developed.
