When Mercedes-Benz started revealing information regarding all the technical highlights of its novel, sixth-generation SL-Class model back during 2011, everybody was thrilled, particularly when they came to know that we learned that the aluminum-intensive construction of the vehicle achieved a net weight savings of 220 lbs (100 kg). The 2017 SL is also expected to be equipped with sleeker and narrower headlights than that of the current model. Finally, both front and back bumpers of the new vehicle seem to be more rounded, offering it an analogous look to the beautiful Mercedes AMG GT.
At the rear part of the 2017 SL, changes appear to be restricted to the exhaust tips and a re-profiled bumper, but it is highly possible that the automaker will update the graphics taillights by the time the vehicle reaches production.

Mercedes-Benz has made some minor interior tweaks on its 2017 SL. As a result, buyers can expect the new vehicle with some innovative technology features according to the modern day’s needs. Some of these technology changes could be innovative electronic driver assists. The interior of the new 2017 Mercedes SL is going to be equipped with an innovative steering wheel pattern, a slightly bigger monitor for the modernized infotainment system, and improved push buttons on the center console.
Regarding safety features, the 2017 SL is expected to be offered with a safety package that includes innovative systems, cameras, sensors, and much more. The seats in the cabin would be at ease with regulating the position, aeration in addition to heating. New stuffs besides colors will leave buyers breathless. While the interior and exterior get some mid-cycle updates, the automaker has made a major change in its powertrain section with the intention of perking up the performance and fuel economy when compared to that of the outgoing vehicle. It is expected to be equipped with the same V6, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged gasoline engine, which is capable of offering the new SL the essential power output of 329 HP. Release date and the price
The SL is expected to hit the dealerships for sale during the first quarter of 2016 with the starting price of $84,000 and finished it at $215,250 for SL65 AMG.
