It required doing a double take when Infiniti unveiled the QX30 concept at the auto show in Geneva during 2015. At first flush, the only voluntarily visible difference between the concept of the Q30, which was unveiled at the 2013 auto show in Frankfurt, and the QX30 is that the additional letter in the name, indicating its class as an Infiniti SUV or crossover. Though this is not a gotcha instant, the 2017 Infiniti QX30 crossover, which is a five-door crossover SUV, deliberately copies the Q30 show sedan, as it is the Q30.

2017 Infiniti QX30 Redesign, Exterior

When both vehicles go on sale in 2016 or 20917, they will share a body shell, platform and engines. This means that the new Infiniti QX30 2017 will be slightly more than a Q30 hatchback through a lift. That is enough for the automaker to announce the QX30 is a top compact crossover, but buyers would peg it as something more similar to the Volvo V60 Cross Country or the Audi Allroad. However, no issue how buyers slice it, the QX30 resembles the Q30 in terms of its external look, with an additional ground clearance of 1.6 inches only.

Consistent with the most recent rash of concepts of Infiniti, the 2017 QX30 comes with the elegant longitudinal bodylines that cover tightly around strongly shaped wheelhouses, and the passenger compartment is a smooth and solid bulge that makes the new vehicle appear like a mountain lion, physically powerful and well built. Unlike great felines, the muscle comes mostly through 21-inch alloy wheels, plastic fender flares and the revamped front and back bumpers that include proto touches of a sport utility vehicle.
The new vehicle’s front bumper, particularly, ditches the individual intakes of the Q30 for a full-width opening ballooned with chrome. The length, breadth, and height dimensions are half an inch less than that of the Mercedes-Benz GLA250, but they are somewhat more than a redesigned GLA250.

As far as the interior is concerned, if the concept is something to elapse, may wind up being far more fashionable than the somewhat cheap feeling than that of the GLA. The cabin is designed to offer a comfortable sitting space for five adult passengers, and it comes with a complete-length center console. Every surface of the cabin is covered by the blue color and saddle color, and the dazzling metal trim and mauve instrumentation illumination blend amazingly well. Every buyer will be particularly smitten by the single dashboard monitor and it is expected that it would carry over to production, since the set up of double-screen center-stack in latest Infiniti models is odd appearing and puzzling. Some of the sophisticated technologies available in the 2017 Infiniti SUV include:
 Temperature control system.
 Bluetooth connectivity.
 Cruise control.
 Navigation system.
 Wi-Fi.
 Audio speakers.

Engine

The QX30 is expected to be equipped with a four-cylinder, direct-injection turbocharged engine with the capacity of 2.0 liters. This 2017 Infiniti QX30 engine is supplied by Mercedes-Benz and it is essentially the similar engine found in the Mercedes-Benz GLA and CLA models. The engine offers the new vehicle a maximum power of 211 horsepower and it will be mated to a seven-rated mechanical transmission to deliver the required power to all the wheels of the new vehicle. The new QX30 comes with the front-wheel drive mode as standard and the all-wheel drive mode will be offered as an option.
