The 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe is the redesigned version of the current Q60, which was the iconic vehicle of Infiniti. Being called as the G37 Coupe, the present Q60 was a sporting, capable vehicle that was constructed with two doors, which happened to be outshined by the Audi S5 and A5 and BMW’s 3-series coupe and 4-series coupe. Now it has returned in a new form for the model year 2017. The 2017 redesigned model of Q60 will have a better look, both inside and out than the earlier version.

Normally, coupe redesigned from the entry-level sports cars were identical to their four-door versions, but nowadays, more is being made to distinguish the siblings and 2017 Q60 is no exception. Infiniti is uplifting the coupe plagiaristic to a new stature. It looks as if each single body panel is unique when compared with the Q50 sedan from which it is derived. This offers the new vehicle a gorgeous, strong look to vie competently with its class rivals.

2017 Infiniti Q60 Changes, Exterior

Similar to the Q50 sedan, next generation Infiniti Q60 comes with the back-drive chassis and has the engine in its front part. It is frankly surprising that the concept of both Q50 and Q60 models resemble each other when Infiniti unveiled to approvals at the 2015 auto show in Detroit. The only major differences include the circular exhaust outlets and the separated front intakes that appear better than the amorphous chrome openings of the show car. Everything else, ranging from the commanding haunches and the seductive tail lamps to the strong shoulder line and stuffed hood, carries over the whole to the production model.

The signature design cues, such as the crescent-shaped C-pillars and the double-arch grille ensure that the new Q60 remains instantaneously recognizable as an Infiniti model. These cues highlight the in-motion look. The LED headlights are designed with Light Guide Technology to spread light consistently on the road in advance, and they are designed to imitate the form of the human eyelid, offering an appealing face to the vehicle. The profound grille is inset from the body, communicating a physically powerful association with the twin-turbo engine.

2017 Infiniti Q60 also comes equipped with attractively designed side mirrors that offer it a luxurious and gorgeous outside look. The 2017 model is wider and lower than the present Q60, and an arresting outline highlights the position of the new Q60 as a commanding sports coupe. The aggressive posture gives a superior impression of solidity and in-control driving potential, whereas its lower center of gravity has a constructive overall effect on driving dynamics.

The wheel gaps between the tires and wheel arches are tauter than ever, further lowering the visual capacity of the vehicle and offering it a low, powerful posture.

The drag coefficient has been brought to the inspiring level of 0.28 to keep the vehicle steady at high velocities and in the crosswind situation. The front fender vents direct the air from the 2017 Infiniti Q60 engine bay whereas the hood is shaped to decrease drag, as well.
