Of late, some reports start spreading online that the Italian sports car manufacturer, Ferrari, is going to introduce the facelifted and improved model of the Ferrari F12. Consistent with some information, the model would bear the name F12 GTO or Special F12, started spreading on the internet. Now, Ferrari has officially declared that that the redesigned model will be unveiled at the Motor Show, which is to be held in Geneva in 2016 as a 2017 year model, and it will be called as the 2017 Ferrari F12tdf.
The tdf in the name is the short form of Tour De France. This new F12tdf is, in fact, the limited version and it has been announced by Ferrari that only 799 units will be manufactured. However, this model will be constructed in an effective way to vie strongly with its biggest competitors, such as 2015 model Lamborghini Aventador SV and the 2014-15 series Aston Martin Vanquish.

The 2017 Ferrari supercar is expected to come with a few external modifications to make it modern and attractive. Designed by the Styling Center of Ferrari, the 2017 F12tdf can be recognized right away and it is distinguished by an extremely strength and aggressive design. All the outside elements starting from its snout to the tail have been modified.

The new Ferrari F12tdf 2017 has been designed with the length of 183.30 inches, width of 77.20 inches and a height of 50.11 inches. The curb weight of the vehicle is 3119 lbs (1,415 kg), and the weight distribution between the front and the back part is in the proportion 46:54.
Maybe, at the first glimpse, one will think that there is nothing diverse between the standard supercar and the next generation Ferrari F12. But in reality, if it is observed closely, it will be perceived that the new vehicle comes with lots of modified internal elements. To begin with, nothing within the new F12tdf is prepared from leather, excluding the steering wheel, which is extremely abnormal for Ferrari. Everything within the car is prepared from aluminum, carbon-fiber, high-class plastic or Alcantara.

The automaker has installed a fresh back-wheel-steering system, known as the Virtual Short Wheelbase, which assists the new F12tdf to be more stable on the street.
Base price and the release date
The 2017 Ferrari F12 tdf release date is expected to hit the dealerships for sale during the first or second quarter of 2017 with the starting price of $ 500,000.
