Over the preceding few months, a profusion of renderings displaying the 2017 BMW 5-Series has surfaced on the Internet and in magazines. The most recent computer generated images are derived from the newest 5-Series spy pictures and were composed by German Autobild. The 2017 model 5-Series will be constructed by keeping the weight savings and technology in mind, but not the design. It will be designed by making use of styling prompts of the newly launched 7-Series, so the midsize 2017 5-Series continues true to the present BMW design lingo with a stretched out body style, sharp-circular corners and the vertical kidney grille that hooks up with the headlights. Just similar to the 7-Series, the 2017 model 5-Series is expected to be offered with the laser headlamps with the choosy beam as an option.

2017 BMW 5-Series Changes, Exterior

The external design will be a development of the existing design of the new-generation 7-Series. BMW most likely spent most of the time in offering its 2017 model 5-Series with the redesigned front and back fascias, a redesigned engine hood and with the restyled side panels.
In the front, the new sedan will feature a fresh headlamp and grille design analogous to those of the recently launched BMW models. It comes equipped with a twin-kidney grille, which now will be broader and slimmer whereas the sleeker headlights would run into its chrome border. This new pattern, together with the modified apron vents, will offer the new 5-Series a sportier look.

On the sides, the new BMW 5-Series 2017 would keep hold of the nameplates previously well-known character lines, counting the waistline flowing from the front bumper to the back, through the doorknobs. The new external look of the 2017 model is further enhanced by the novel side mirrors and the side skirts.
Around rear, the new vehicle comes equipped with a pair of fresh taillights, a redesigned trunk lid, and revamped bumper. The higher-end models are expected to come equipped with bigger exhaust outlets as well as a quad-pipe configuration.

2017 BMW 5-Series Interior

The interior is still a mystery, as the automaker has not yet revealed any of its interior prompts. However, it is expected that it will follow the interior design of the revamped 7-Series. This means that next generation BMW 5 is expected to rebuild the cabin, similar to that of the earlier model, with some of the well-known cues revived by a novel dashboard and modified door panels. Noteworthy changes would include an innovative infotainment monitor and a new key layout for the middle stack, in addition to a modified instrument panel.
The cabin of the new BMW 5-Series 2017 is also equipped with adequate luxury and convenience features, such that softer materials are used all over the cabin, latest technology features and most modern safety system, better connectivity, and some of the widgets BMW has unveiled at the latest auto shows.

Engine, Top Speed

The 2017 5-Series is expected to be equipped with a variety of engines used in the 2014 model Mini Cooper. This will include a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter displacement and an inline-six, 3.0-liter displacement and a debutant three-pot 1.5-liter displacement powertrains. It is not yet comprehensible whether the 2017 model will be equipped with a new V8 powertrain or it will be equipped with a redesigned version of the present 4.4-liter displacement powertrain. The new 5-Series is also expected to come equipped with a hybrid version.

The 2017 BMW 5 engine of the higher end models will offer the maximum power of 460 ponies, and the hybrid and three-pot powertrains are expected to make the novel lineup the most prudent of the 5-Series since the nameplate was launched.
Irrespective of the engine, it will be tuned to make the new 5-Series attain the 60 mph velocity from the start in 7 seconds and will make it attain the top speed of 155 mph.
