Audi, the leading German auto manufacturer, has offered its customers many innovative and redesigned models, such as Q7, A4, R8, etc., during the 2015 model year. It looks that the 2016 year will also be crammed with new releases from the German automaker. Having already introduced the revamped Audi R8 Spyder at the 2016 Auto Show in New York, the four-ringed auto manufacturer took the drapes of the facelifted A3 series, which consists of a sedan, hatchback and cabriolet and their individual performance-oriented editions.
Similar to the rest of the A3 series, the 2017 Audi S3 Sportback comes with a redesigned front end that includes the new styling lingo of Audi, a revised back end, superior technology, and a little more powerful engine to keep the vehicle fresh pending the next-generation model turns up. However, the bad news is that the US market will not get the new Audi S3 for the model year 2017.
2017 Audi S3 Sportback Changes, Exterior
The overall shape and size and shape have remained untouched, but the it borrows a lot from the new-generation Audi A4, using several of the sedan’s sharper traits and aggressive body lines of the sedan. The next generation Audi S3 Sportback comes equipped with a performance-oriented MacPherson struts suspension system in the front and a four-link suspension system at the back. The new vehicle also comes equipped with the fixed dampers as standard, whereas the adjustable magnetic components will be offered as an option. Regarding brakes, the new vehicle comes equipped with disc brakes the front and at the back with 13.4 rotors in the front and 12.2 sized rotors at the back.
The new S3 Sportback comes equipped with the aluminum alloy wheels of the size of 18″ X 8″ in the front and at the back, wearing P225/40YR18 sized tires in the front and at the back. However, it will be offered with a set of steel wheels as a spare.
