The all-fresh next gen 2017 Aston Martin DB11 is set to head for another launch for the British sports car manufacturer when it is released shortly next year as a replacement to DB9. The 2017 DB11 will be the opening of a raft of innovative Aston Martin models as the business looks to restore all of its major sports cars in the subsequent five years under the new administration. Even though the new DB11 is likely to maintain several of the features that attract conventional Aston Martin buyers, it is prepared to be a brand-new mock-up with entirely new underpinnings, engines and interior.
2017 Aston Martin DB11 Exterior
The exterior look of the new Aston Martin DB11 2017 is similar to that of the latest concept vehicles, like the DBX crossover and the CC100. The DBX crossover was unveiled at the March motor show in Geneva, whereas the CC100 was constructed in 2013 to commemorate the 100-year existence of the brand.
The 2017 DB11 is supposed to have a recently designed chassis, although one that has been constructed using the same principle as the departing VH platform. The new chassis will be a bonded and riveted construction, which will be sufficiently versatile to form the foundation of other upcoming models. The automaker decided to construct the structure internally instead of sharing any of the aluminum structure from the AMG GT, although the partnership exists between the two companies.
All-new frivolous suspension has also been constructed internally and it has two wishbones at the front and back. With the intention of reducing the weight of the components of the suspension, it is expected that some parts would be borrowed from the German brand. Regarding external dimensions, it will be taller than the DB9 by a couple of inches with a longer wheelbase.
2017 Aston Martin DB11 Interior, Redesign
The 2017 DB11 is expected to come with a 4-seater cabin with adequate space to offer a hassle-free ride to the occupants. The additional room will be balanced by an airier cabin plan, owing to a completely redesigned dashboard. It will be an extremely cleaner plan and underpinned by an all-fresh electrical structural design. At the central part of the cabin, there will be an innovative infotainment system, which is probably to be the most noticeable proof of the 5% ownership of Daimler with Aston Martin. It is also expected that would borrow some internal elements, such as the most modern infotainment systems from Mercedes models.
Engine and Performance
Although Aston Martin has not yet revealed the engine options, it is expected that it will be equipped with a V8 engine with the capacity of 4.0 liters. This 2017 Aston Martin DB11 engine has been used to power the Mercedes-AMG GT, but it is finely tuned to offer a maximum power output that ranges from 456 HP to 503 HP.
Another possible(now officially) engine option will be a V12, 5.2-liter twin-turbo engine. This engine is redesigned to minimize the CO2 emissions to less than 333g/km, which was offered by the DB9. With the finely tuned engine, it is expected to get more power output than DB9. Consequently, it is likely to get a maximum power of 600 horsepower with 516 lb-ft of torque @ 1500 rpm to 5000 rpm that would make it the most powerful vehicle in the DB series. With these engines, the new DB11 attains the velocity from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, with the top speed of 200 mph.
The new Aston Martin comes equipped with a six-rated manual transmission(probably not gona happend) and it is expected to be offered with a contemporary eight-paced ZF automatic transmission, as well as a mechanical limited-slip differential.
If you want to save fuel the engine will change mode and run as a 2.6-liter inline six when you don’t need that extra power, however, to prevent the exhaust catalyst from overcooling, the computer switch between two banks.
Price and the release date
The 2017 Aston Martin DB11 release date will be during the late part of 2016 or the early part of 2017 with the starting price of $211,995.
