The 2016 Toyota Avalon is a full size sedan manufactured by Toyota. The first ever Avalon was introduced in 1994 and its hybrid version debuted in 2012 in the New York International Auto show, making the Avalon 2016 version part of the fourth generation of the Avalon family.
The next Toyota Avalon exterior has by all means got an all out facelift. The upper grille is slimmer and more stretched out, the lower grille is bigger and the lower corners are curved instead of the upper sharp edged corners from last year’s model. The front also features sleeker LED headlamps. As for the rear, chrome accents and much more refined tail lamps have been added. The body kit has smoother curves and accents than its predecessor. The touring model will get 18 inch dark grey painted wheels, LED head lights and LED day time running lights. The XLE and XLE Plus trims will get 17 inch wheels. The new Toyota Avalon interior has also not been tampered with a lot. The interior will be offered in a light grey color theme will dark accent grey stitching. An Entune Audio system and an 7-inch Entune Audio Plus screen are standard for all Avalon trims. The XLE and XLE Plus trims will get an Entune Audio Plus screen and a premium wood grain accent dashboard. The XLE Premium will get a wireless charging port and a premium navigation system. Many safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure alerts and collision warning have also been added.
Toyota Avalon 2015 Specs, Engine
The new 2016 Toyota Avalon engine will feature the same engine as 2015; a 3.5 liter V6 with a six speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. The engine will produce 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and a torque of 248 lb.ft. at 4,700 rpm. The new Toyota Avalon 2016 engine will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds and produce a maximum speed of 130 mph. The engine is offered in front wheel drive format. New Avalon will be featured in 5 trims; XLE, XLE plus, XLE premium, Touring and Limited. As for the fuel economy, the engine will deliver 21 mpg and 31 mpg for city and highway respectively
2016 Toyota Avalon Price and Release Date
The luxury sedan Toyota Avalon 2016 release date has not yet been announced but rumors say that it will be available for sale in summer this year as a 2016 year model. As for the price, around $ 31.500 is estimated to be its market value. All models: XLE, XLE Plus, XLE Premium, Limited and Touring will have wide range of prices which are currently unknown. Though the exterior was not warmly welcomed, the comfortable and a convenient engine might be able to make the 2016 Avalon come into buyers notice and consideration.
